Christmas….. I can only find one world to describe it, “MAGIC”!!.  When I think of Christmas, I think of quality family time, because that’s what Christmas is all about….. Time when the entire family comes together, to share these joyful and magical moments.

Imagine, wonderful smells coming outside of the kitchen of home-made gingerbread cookies, mulled wine and cinnamon aroma drifting in the air. Kids running around, Christmas tree twinkling next to the fireplace, never endless laugh and late conversations over hot coco….Etc. It’s simply time when miracles happen……

Although, I love spending time at home with my friend and family, I also am a big fan of Christmas Markets, which becoming more popular each year. Every city in England have their own individual Christmas Market. London actually has few, from Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park to Coven Garden, through Southbank by river Thames and Borough Market…. As much as I love London festive spirit sometime it can be a bit overwhelming at times…

So last weekend, we decided to go a little bit further, to be more precise hour and 48 min. North from London. Yes!! We went explore Oxford. This beautiful historical city with beautiful, rich architecture an art, turned out to be also a joyful and magical experience of Christmas Carols, market traders offering unique hand made gifts and delicious sweet and savory treats. Beautiful wooden stalls on Bond Street in Oxford City center with colorful decorations, and smell of mulled wine will definitely get even Grinch in the festive spirit. Really beautiful as you can see on the picture below. Still picture doesn’t do the justice.

So please don’t miss out, there is only couple more days left to experience this enchanted place……So go, eat, drink and be merry!! Please let me know if you liked it, also feel free to recommend your local markets and share pictures….
